Inflation and the rising cost of living are issues that impact every family in Colorado. As a business owner and a parent, I understand the financial strain these challenges bring. My plan focuses on practical solutions to stabilize and reduce living costs, ensuring that every family can afford the basics—housing, food, and safety. I will work tirelessly to implement policies that make Colorado more affordable for everyone.
Affordable Housing
Everyone deserves a place they can call home. The struggle for affordable housing is a significant concern in our state, and it's time for action. I will advocate for the development of more affordable housing units and push for reforms that make it easier for families to buy or rent homes. Together, we can ensure that every resident has access to safe, affordable housing.
Supporting Veterans
As a veteran, I am deeply committed to supporting those who have served our country. I will fight for better healthcare, education, and job opportunities for our veterans. We owe it to them to ensure they receive the care and respect they deserve.
Strengthening Public Safety
Safety should not be a privilege; it should be a guarantee. My experience with the Denver Police Department has shown me the importance of a well-supported, well-trained police force. I will work to ensure that our law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to keep our communities safe while fostering trust and cooperation between the police and the public.
Improving Education
We are failing our children, and as a result, they are failing to keep up on the world stage. I will work to reverse that trend and focus on our basic core competencies to help promote success for our children. It's essential that we provide our kids with the education they need to thrive in a competitive global environment.
Tackling Crime
Safety is a priority for every Colorado family. I will work to enforce our laws and hold criminals accountable. By bringing businesses together to hire prior offenders, we can reduce recidivism and help reintegrate them into society, creating a safer community for all.
Addressing Affordability
Our citizens are being squeezed from all sides due to rising prices and taxes. I will work to rein in spending and taxes/fees, protect TABOR, and boost the 'starter home' market. We need to make Colorado a place where everyone can afford to live and thrive.
Reforming Immigration
I will work with my counterparts in the federal government to make legal immigration more attainable. By streamlining the process and ensuring fairness, we can support those who seek to contribute to our community and economy.

Rooted in the rich heritage of Illinois and Louisiana, my family’s journey brought me to Colorado in 1995—a place that quickly felt like home, prompting me to stay. My life has been shaped by resilience and integrity, values that have been passed down through generations.
My grandmother was the epitome of determination and toughness. With 25 children, her life was a testament to perseverance, working from cleaning houses to picking cotton, and always with a .38 in her purse for protection. She lived a long and impactful life until the age of 104. My mother continued this legacy of strength. A veteran of the Women's Army Corps and a tireless worker, she supported us as a single mother with unwavering dedication, ensuring our safety and well-being.
My own path has been diverse and enriching. Serving as a C-130 Crew Chief in the Air Force Reserves for nearly two decades and previously with the Denver Police Department, I’ve also taken the helm of my trucking business as an owner/operator. This blend of experiences has honed my ability to remain level-headed and composed under pressure, skills I bring to every aspect of my life, ensuring I can address issues effectively and reach sound resolutions.
My campaign is built on three pillars:
